Emma Bromley is the Administrator at The Court Care Home, part of the Akari Care Group. But she’s not your average Administrator, because she recently completed a half marathon. And that’s just the start!
On Sunday 21st May, Emma completed the Chester Half Marathon to raise money for The Court Residents’ Comfort Fund. What’s more, she beat her target time of 3 hours by 9 minutes, finishing in 2 hours 51 minutes – and, to put the icing on the cake, she managed to raise £210 for the Comfort Fund!
Emma really enjoyed the challenge, and now it seems she’s caught the marathon bug, and how! She’s signed up for four more marathons: the Chirk Half Marathon in July, the Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon in September, the Manchester Half Marathon in October, and the Manchester Santa Fun Run in December.
Emma has already has four more lined up in 2018, including a metric marathon – that’s 26.2kms!
