Bringing the beach and some artistic talent to Edgeley!

Earlier this year, a group of students from Sir John Talbot’s School came for a week and painted a beach mural in our Dementia Unit.

It was a lovely experience for everyone.  The students had an opportunity to get to know the residents and staff , and, of course, to practise their art skills. 

Now we can all go for a paddle every day!!

Anything you can do..

It seems that the young artists inspired some of our residents to have a go, because not long after the beach mural was finished, a couple of them had a fun-filled afternoon painting various landscapes, which then went on display in their rooms.  Next stop the Royal Academy!
