Christmas has been and gone, and now we’re looking forward to what 2018 will bring us. So here’s a news round-up – from the past and the future!
We had a great Christmas party, with staff and residents singing, dancing and playing games – we all had a fabulous time!
As usual, there were lots of lovely Christmas decorations, which even extended into the garden. If anyone out there has any decorations they no longer want, please bring them in and we’ll use them to make our display even better next Christmas.
During December we had a visit from Jack, our lovely Labrador friend, and, last but not least, our Manager Gary was awarded an Akari Silver Star for his great work here at Cartrefle. And quite right, too!

We have lots of activities planned for the coming year. Here are just a few.

Pimp my zimmer (a national project that’s helping to reduce falls)
Mostyn gallery coming to do some craft workshops
Pet therapy – dogs, chickens, cats – and a zoo visit
Music therapy
Themed days
So, as you can see, Cartrefle’s going to be buzzing in 2018!
