Akari Stars at Park House!

Tuesday, 6 June 2017

The Akari Care Group recently launched the Akari Star awards initiative to recognise outstanding care, support and dedication by colleagues, suppliers, volunteers or family supporters.  It’s Akari’s way of celebrating the effort of the sort of people who go the extra mile for residents and their families.

Staff at Park House are delighted to announce their first Akari Stars!  Delighted but not surprised, because the staff are a dedicated and willing bunch, always happy to oblige if it improves the service they give to residents and their families.

Four of the Akari Stars, Kimberley Thompson (Senior Care), Laura Lockett (Care Assistant), Dunja Hughes (Care Assistant) and Kerry-Ann Fraser (Care Assistant), took four residents on holiday to a caravan at Crimdon Dene for a week.

Meanwhile, back at base, Jack Nicholson (Care Assistant) and Julie Maughan (Care Assistant) were recognised for the way in which they are always happy and willing to do anything they’re asked to do in the Home – whether it’s a task in the kitchen or a simple domestic chore – and always  with a smile!
