Crofton Court

Crofton Court Care Home is situated in Blyth, Northumberland in the town centre, next to the Community Hospital. There is easy access to shops, cafés, the library and community centres with very good public transport links and Blyth port is only five minutes walk away.

Crofton Court has a lovely, welcoming feel to it and is very peaceful, light and airy. 

Person-centred care is at the heart of our home and Colleagues interact with residents in a polite and friendly manner. We work hard to ensure that the residents are given opportunities to be as physically and mentally active as they wish to be and have a big focus on music. 

We have regular visits from entertainers so residents can sing and dance which is particularly effective for those with living with dementia. We have excellent links with Mind Active – who organise activities and our residents go to their social events in the town.  We love to have the local primary school choir visit us. and our local church holds regular services and read bible stories.
