Coble House

Situated on the outskirts of Whitley Bay, close to the picturesque bay of Cullercoats, Coble House Care Home is a registered general residential and nursing Care Home with accommodation for 52 residents.  We’re close to local shops, a Post Office and a range of coffee shops and restaurants.  We’re also well served by good road and public transport links.

The home provides comfortable living accommodation with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.  We have a courtyard garden and four tastefully decorated communal lounges where residents can either choose to relax or participate in the daily programme of activities.  Some of the bedrooms and communal areas have a view of the sea.

There are several seating areas around the Home, which are ideal for relaxation or catching up with relatives and friends.

Something we do which we know our residents and their relatives appreciate, is that we don’t have separate nursing and residential units, so when a resident’s health needs alter they can still stay in their chosen bedrooms.  We also take great care in choosing interior décor and furnishings that will help residents to feel relaxed and calm.

The overall wellbeing of our residents is our central focus, and that means much more than just feeding them and keeping them clean and warm.  We like them to be as active as possible, mentally and physically.  If they have hobbies and interests we encourage them to keep them up as far as possible.
